The security of your data<\/h2>\n<p>We make every effort to process your data correctly and securely in accordance with the European Union\u2019s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).<br \/>\nThe data you have provided to us will under no circumstances be shared, passed on or sold to third parties, unless you have given your explicit prior written consent.<\/p>\n<h2>1.3. Comments<\/h2>\n<p>Currently, we have disabled the ability to leave comments on the yogakitchen.be website.<br \/>\nShould we re-enable comments, this will be in accordance with the rules set out below:<br \/>\nWhen visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, the visitor\u2019s IP address and the browser user agent string to help detect spam.<br \/>\nAn anonymised string generated from your email address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service if you use it. Once your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible alongside your comment.<\/p>\n<h2>1.4. Media<\/h2>\n<p>Currently, we have disabled the uploading of images to the yogakitchen.be website by third parties.<br \/>\nShould we enable this in the future, please bear the following in mind:<br \/>\nIf you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site can download and extract any location data from images on the site.<\/p>\n<h2>1.5. Cookies<\/h2>\n<p>At present, we have not enabled the ability to leave comments and create a personal user account on the yogakitchen.be website.<br \/>\nShould we enable these features in the future, please note the following:<br \/>\nWhen you leave a comment on our site, you can choose whether your name, email address and website may be stored in a cookie. We do this for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter this information when leaving a new comment. Who we share your data with<\/h2>\n<p>At present, we have not enabled the option to create your own account with a username and password on the yogakitchen.be website.<br \/>\nShould we enable this in the future, the following will apply:<br \/>\n&#8211; If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.<br \/>\nThe website yogakitchen.be features an online shop (WooCommerce e-commerce software \u2013 www.woocommerce.com) and an online payment system for purchases (www.stripe.com).<\/p>\n<p>This means that:<br \/>\n&#8211; When making an online purchase in the online shop, the following details are recorded and stored:<br \/>\nSurname \u2013 First name \u2013 Address (street, house number, postcode, town\/city, country) \u2013 Email address<br \/>\nThese details are used to ensure correct invoicing and dispatch.<br \/>\n&#8211; When making an online payment via the yogakitchen.be website, certain data is exchanged with the operator of the chosen payment system in order to process the payment. The current provider for online payments is Stripe (www.stripe.com).<\/p>\n<p>By using Stripe as our payment service provider, we may store personal data or share data with a third-party service, namely Stripe. Further details on this can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/stripe.com\/nl-be\/privacy\" target=\"_blank\">via this link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Please also refer to the information in section 1.12.<\/p>\n<h2>1.8. How long do we retain your data?<\/h2>\n<p>At present, it is not possible to leave comments or create a user profile with a login and password on the yogakitchen.be website.<br \/>\nShould we decide to activate these features in the future, this will be done as described below:<br \/>\nWhen you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata will be retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve follow-up comments rather than having to moderate them.<\/p>\n<p>For users who register on our site (where applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit this information.<\/p>\n<h2>1.9. Data resulting from bookings or reservations for lessons and workshops<\/h2>\n<p>We may use Google services to generate maps and offer autocomplete suggestions when searching for on-site events. In doing so, we may collect data gathered via your browser in accordance with <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.google.com\/privacy\" target=\"_blank\">Google\u2019s privacy policy<\/a>.<br \/>\nWe collect and store the information you provide when making a reservation or booking, for the purpose of reserving the number of places you have requested for our event and maintaining an attendance list.<br \/>\nCurrently, the publication of information about events (and associated venues) by third parties is not enabled.<\/p>\n<h2>1.12. Data resulting from purchases in the online shop<\/h2>\n<p>We collect information about you during the checkout process in our shop.<\/p>\n<h3>What we collect and store<\/h3>\n<p>When you visit our site, we collect the following data:<br \/>\n\u2022 Products you have viewed: we use this data, for example, to show you products you have recently viewed<br \/>\n\u2022 Location, IP address and browser type: we use this data to calculate tax surcharges and delivery charges<br \/>\n\u2022 Delivery address: we ask you to provide this information so that we can, for example, calculate the delivery charges before you place an order and subsequently dispatch the order to you.<\/p>\n<p>We also use cookies to save products in your shopping basket whilst you browse our site.<br \/>\nWhen you purchase products from us, we ask you to provide information, including your name, billing address, delivery address, email address, credit card\/payment details and optional information.<\/p>\n<h3>What we use the collected information for<\/h3>\n<p>We use this information for the following purposes:<br \/>\n\u2022 To send you information about your order<br \/>\n\u2022 To respond to your inquiries, including refunds and complaints<br \/>\n\u2022 In order to process payments and prevent fraud<br \/>\n\u2022 To set up your account for our shop<br \/>\n\u2022 To comply with any legal obligations we have, such as calculating taxes<br \/>\n\u2022 In order to improve our shop\u2019s offering<br \/>\n\u2022 And to send you marketing messages, if you have opted in<\/p>\n<p>If you create an account, your name, address and email address will be used to automatically fill in your checkout details for future orders.<br \/>\nGenerally, we store information about you for as long as we need it for the purpose for which we collect and use it. We are not legally required to retain this information. For example, we retain order information for 10 years for tax and accounting purposes. This information includes your name, email address, and billing and delivery addresses.<br \/>\nWe will also store any comments or reviews you leave.<\/p>\n<h3>Who on our team has access<\/h3>\n<p>We have access to the information you have provided to us.
