These are the rules of the game
1. Instructions and information during yoga activities
1.1. Group classes
The practice of yoga results in a better physical, energetic and mental well-being of the yoga practitioner.
The instructions and informations given during yoga classes are intended to improve the general well-being of the participant. However, it is not medical information and in no way replaces a medical treatment or diagnosis.
This has three important consequences:
- If in doubt whether yoga practice is suitable for one’s own personal situation, we recommend contacting one’s GP for advice.
- Yoga Kitchen is in no way responsible for not applying or incorrectly applying the given information during or after the yoga practice.
- The participant in yoga activities should communicate any relevant information of a physical, medical or psychological nature that requires special caution or precautions to the teacher before the start of the activity, to allow him/her to react appropriately.
1.2. Private yoga consultations
In the private yoga consultation, the participant fills out an intake form on the occasion of the first private consultation. This enables the coach to adapt the individual yoga session to the participant as well as possible.
After the consultation the participant receives a written set of exercises to practice at home.
Yoga Kitchen is in no case responsible for not or wrongly applying the communicated information or the given individual set of exercises for home practice following an individual yoga consultation.
2. Instructions and information related to massage activities
The relaxing massages offered by Yoga Kitchen are intended to improve the general well-being of the person being massaged (the receiver), with relaxation and reduction of muscle tension as the goal. They do not replace a medical examination, medical treatment or diagnosis. Before a first massage treatment, the participant fills in an intake form which enables the giver to adapt the treatment to the participant as well as possible. By signing this form, massage clients declare that they have understood all the questions and have filled them in truthfully. In case of repeated treatments, they will immediately inform the massage therapist of any interim changes.
The treated clients are expected to let the massage therapist know immediately if they experience pain or any discomfort during the massage treatment.
3. Prices and conditions of the multiple class passes
The applicable prices for classes, workshops and other activities are listed on the page “Prices” of the website.
Yoga classes can be attended as single classes. Who wants to come back for more classes is free to:
- either continue to pay per separate, single class
- or to purchase a pass for 5 or 10 sessions at a reduced rate
A multiple session pass is valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. An interruption or suspension of classes or workshops within Yoga Kitchen due to holidays or for any other reason, extends the validity of the currently valid cards by a period equal to the duration of the interruption.
A multiple sessions pass is strictly personal. The holder of a multiple sessions pass may, if previously agreed with the trainer, exceptionally invite a guest to take a class once. This class will then be charged to the holder’s multiple-sessions pass.
Refund by Yoga Kitchen of purchased multiple class passes is not possible.
Those who still have a valid pass but can no longer take classes within the validity of the card can, with prior agreement, exceptionally sell it or pass it on to a third person who can use the card until the expiry date. In this case, the card will be reissued in the name of the new user.
