1. Instructions and information yoga activities

1.a. Group classes yoga

The practice of yoga leads to a better physical, energetic and mental well-being of the yoga practitioner.
The instructions during the yoga classes are intended to improve the general well-being of the participant. However, it is not medical information and in no way replaces any medical treatment or diagnosis.
In case of doubt as to whether the yoga practice is suitable for one’s own personal situation, we recommend contacting the general practitioner for advice.
Yoga Kitchen is in no way responsible for not or wrongly applying the given information during the yoga practice.
The participant in yoga activities should communicate any relevant information of a physical, medical or psychological nature that requires special caution or precautions to the teacher before starting the activity, in order to allow them to respond adequately.

1.b. Private yoga consultation

On the occasion of the first private consultation for personal yoga guidance, the participant fills in an intake form. This enables the coach to adapt the individual yoga session as well as possible to the participant.
At the end of the consultation the participant is given a written series of exercises for home practice.
Yoga Kitchen is under no circumstances responsible for the non or incorrect application of the given information or the given individual series of exercises for home practice following an individual yoga consultation.

2. Instructions and information massage activities (from 01/01/2019)

The relaxing massages offered by Yoga Kitchen are intended to improve the general wellbeing of the massaged person, with the aim of relaxing and reducing muscle tension. They do not in any way replace a medical examination, medical treatment or diagnosis. Prior to an initial massage treatment, the participant fills in an intake form that allows the masseur to adapt the treatment as much as possible to the participant. By signing this form, the massage clients declare that they have understood all the questions and completed them truthfully. In case of repeated treatments, they will immediately inform the massage therapist of any interim changes.
The treated clients are expected to let the massage therapist know immediately if they experience any pain or discomfort during the massage treatment.

3. Prices and conditions for Multiple Class Passes

The current prices for lessons, workshops and other activities are listed on the “Prices” page of the website.
Single classes can be taken. Those who wish to come back are free to:

  • or continue to pay per separate lesson
  • or take a multi-turn card for 5 or 10 turns at a reduced price
  • .

A Multiple Class Pass will be valid for 4 months from the date of purchase. An interruption or suspension of classes or workshops within Yoga Kitchen due to holidays or for any other reason, will extend the validity of the currently valid class cards by a corresponding period.

A Multiple Class Pass is issued in the holder’s name and is strictly personal.
The holder of a Multiple Class Pass may, provided it has been agreed beforehand with the trainer, exceptionally invite a guest to participate in a class once. This class will be charged on the holder’s Multiple Class Pass.

Reimbursement by Yoga Kitchen of purchased Multiple Class Passes is not possible.
If you have a valid class card that is still valid but cannot or do not want to take any more classes within the period of validity of the card, you can, subject to prior agreement, exceptionally resell it or pass it on to a third person, who can use the card until the expiration date. In this case, the card will be issued in the name of the new user.

4. Booking and cancellation conditions for private yoga sessions, massage treatments, workshops and pre-announced activities

When booking a workshop, pre-announced activities, private yoga session or massage treatment, an advance payment is required.

4.1. Private yoga sessions or massage treatments

The advance is 20,00 euro. The deposit must be paid in cash or online, or by bank transfer to account number IBAN BE76 0635 4774 5695, of Peter Verhaegen, De Lochtstraat 42, 1030 Schaerbeek, mentioning the date and name of the treatment.
The client will settle the remaining amount either prior to or at the start of the activity.
Annulations:
For a massage treatment or private yoga consultation, the appointment can be cancelled up to 48 hours before the reserved time at the latest. However, the deposit paid will not be refunded.
Non-attendance of booked appointments or cancellation of booked massage treatments or private yoga consultations after the 48h deadline mentioned above requires payment of the full cost price.

Failure to attend booked appointments or cancellation of booked massage treatments or private yoga consultations after the 48h deadline mentioned above requires payment of the full cost. The remaining balance will be charged to the client/participant.

4.2. Workshops or longer pre-announced activities

The advance may vary depending on the total cost of the activity and is mentioned in the information about the activity. The deposit must be paid in cash or online, or by bank transfer to account number IBAN BE76 0635 4774 5695, of Peter Verhaegen, De Lochtstraat 42, 1030 Schaerbeek, mentioning the date and name of the activity, at the latest 10 calendar days before the start of the activity, unless otherwise indicated.
The remaining amount will be settled either prior to or at the start of the activity.
Annulations:
For a workshop or a longer pre-announced activity, participation can be cancelled up to 7 calendar days before the reserved time at the latest. However, the deposit paid will not be refunded.
Non participation in booked activities or cancellation of participation in workshops or activities after the 7 calendar days mentioned above requires payment of the full participation fee. The remaining balance will be charged to the customer/participant.

5. Invoicing conditions

Invoices for services provided by Peter Verhaegen – Yoga Kitchen can be delivered on simple request, stating the detail of the services provided as well as the details for the VAT administration.
In principle, the invoice will be sent to the e-mail address of the customer in .pdf format. Invoices received on paper is possible on special request by the customer.
Invoices must be paid within the payment term stated on the invoice. This is in principle 30 days from the date of invoice. The payment must be made either in cash, at the address Peter Verhaegen – Yoga Kitchen, De Lochtstraat 42, 1030 Schaerbeek, or by transferring the total amount mentioned on the invoice, mentioning the invoice number in the notification, to the bank account number: IBAN BE76 0635 4774 5695, of Peter Verhaegen, De Lochtstraat 42, 1030 Schaerbeek.

6. Sharing of data with payment partner

For the processing of payment transactions that take place via the website, we work with the payment partner Mollie. In this context, personal data are shared with Mollie in order to complete the payment transactions.
For any payment you make via the payment module on the website, you indicate your agreement with the sharing of this data necessary for payment, in compliance with the applicable privacy legislation.
