More insight into the new tariffs valid from 01/01/2025

From 1 January 2025, I will adjust the prices of yoga classes.
A single 60-minute class in the studio will then come to 14.00 euros, online 12.00 euros.
A single 90-minute class in the studio will then come to 21.00 euros, online 18.00 euros

The discount continues to apply for the multiple class passes, which are valid for four months from the date of purchase. The principle is, that those who take the classes with a certain regularity will get a discount on the class price (10% for the 5-classes pass, just over 20% for the 10-classes pass).
The multiple-class passes are consequently valid for 4 months from the date of purchase.

What determines the correct cost price of a product or service?

The price of a product or service is the realistic expression of its value and is determined in comparison with similar products or services offered on the market.

Why does it seem like the rates of classes are suddenly going up so much now?

This is the first price increase in more than 10 years. Since the start of the yoga classes, in 2013, more than 10 years ago, the base price for classes has never been adjusted and remained at €10.00 for the 60-minute class, and at €15.00 for the 90-minute class.
Of course, all consumption prices have evolved quite a bit since 2013 with indexation. Just consider what you paid for a loaf of bread in 2013, compared to today. Or how rent prices have evolved.

How does the cost of a yoga class at Yoga Kitchen compare to other yoga studios?

The table below shows the prices of 1-hour yoga classes, as well as the cost of a 10-event pass at the most well-known yoga studios in Brussels at the beginning of 2025.

This shows that even after the 2025 price adjustment, yoga classes at Yoga Kitchen still remain by far the most advantageous on the market.
